Cognitive Impairment Happens
Like computers, humans are information processors who can transform, store and retrieve information from memory. Everyone is prone to forget things and everybody needs to be reminded from time to time.  Although this is normal behavior, cognitive impairment can occur at any point in a person's lifespan. With age, other conditions such as stroke, dementia, delirium, even substance abuse may cause cognitive impairment. Sometimes just being reminded is enough to help us remember what we may have forgotten.
It Starts With Friendly Reminders
Hearing a few proactive announcements through a smart speaker is a simple way to get that nudge to take a medication at lunchtime, to inquire about what's on the calendar or even reviewing a grocery list, appointments or events.

When you first wake up, when and what to eat for breakfast,

When you want to relax there are so many options; quiet & peaceful, perhaps listening to your favorite music or whatever you want to do for entertainment
