If a loved one's vision is failing, they may be having a hard time understanding what is happening in a TV show when the actors are not speaking, there are long dramatic pauses in the program or even if there are just action noises without anyone speaking. There is a little-known solution to this problem called Descriptive Audio.
Descriptive Audio provides professional narration of scenes as they are unfolding. It is available as a feature you can enable on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix streaming services. The setup is slightly different for each streaming service, however a family member or caregiver should have no problem enabling this useful feature to improve the overall viewing "experience". Follow these simple steps to enable the Descriptive Audio feature.
